Read : Isaiah 58
Thoughts from: George Hires
Our status quo isn’t going to cut it. We’ve got to have a major mind set change about what worship is about and how it plays out in our hearts and homes.
There are a lot of things we do that look great 58:1-3a. Then in verses 3b-10a God steps up with the attitude and action changes we must make to really worship him and bring blessing and joy to our lives. Take some time to check this out.
One of the hardest things parents have to deal with is kids that do exactly what you ask with rebellious hearts. And then get angry when you aren’t thrilled with their behavior. Far more important is the right humble attitude than prefect behavior with rebellious hearts.
Humble hearts look at the needs of family and those around and respond to needs they see. When God sees that kind of worship he can’t wait for us to ask him for what we need and pour out overflowing resources to meet are requests.
God wants you to keep checking in with him on how to bless others and honor him in your daily walk and worship. There’s great joy ahead for those who do. God said so!
