Welcome to "The Family of God: Week 2"
Thank you to the Children's Team for helping pull together and create resources to match the sermon. The resources may be used to prepare your child's heart before you watch the sermon together, can be used as stand alone lessons or may be used throughout the week at your own pace. Our hope is that the resources help you and your children learn together about what the family of God is and how they may be a part of that family.
The printable "Family of God Lesson" is meant to be read with your children. If you have young children, try reading only the sentences in "bold" and talk about them a bit. The Pray Every Day activity will help us all be in prayer for different members of God's family all week. The lesson also features a traditional hymn that may be found at the link below. I'm curious if you were raised with this song too? Our other song for the week is more current. The rest of the sermon series songs as well as last week's lesson videos are viewable on the playlist linked below.
