Staff and Ministry Leaders
As the Lead Pastor, Jeff concentrates on vision, preaching, and leadership development, and desires to partner with Christ in growing up His Church. Jeff’s hope for Northwest is that we become a vibrant, gospel centered community that exalts the person and the work of Jesus Christ in our hearts, homes and city. Jeff and his wife Ashley were married in 2007 and have four kids, Kota, Taelen, Micah and Halston. They began calling Northwest Bible their home in 2016. Jeff was a college athlete, is a coffee enthusiast, and a Husker fan for life (GBR!)!
STUDENT MINISTRIES PASTOR
As the Student Ministries Pastor, Joel seeks to partner with our families to help raise up students who love God, love others, and who impact the world around them. Joel and his wife Leslie were married in 2004, and have two kids, Zach and Claire. They began calling Northwest Bible their home in 2019. Joel is a huge Packers fan, enjoys Saturday morning trips to Dunkin' Donuts and the dog park with his family, and they love family vacations on the beaches of San Diego.
CREATIVE ARTS PASTOR
As the Creative Arts Pastor, Bryan is responsible for creating environments that lead people to engage in worship through music and the arts. He and his wife Brittany were married in 2008. They joined the Northwest Bible Church family in 2018. Bryan loves his dogs, carpentry projects, sports and Oreos.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
As the volunteer Women’s Ministry Director, Lucinda desires to lead women in understanding the truth of the Gospel for their everyday lives through the study of God’s Word and fellowship with His people. Lucinda also homeschools her kids and works alongside her husband in their family owned company. Lucinda and Luke were married in 2006, and have two kids, Rayne and Luke. They made Northwest Bible Church their home in 2016. She is an enneagram 6 and an ISFJ. She enjoys camping, perusing cookbooks and making their recipes.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
As the Children’s Ministry Director, Tracie ensures that the children’s programs at NWBC for Nursery through 5th grade are age appropriate, Gospel centered and staffed with volunteers that have a heart for pointing children and their families to Christ. She and her husband Chad were married in 2005 and have three children, John, Derek and Amy, and two cats, two birds, and a hamster as soon as Amy earns enough to buy it. They started attending Northwest in 2011. Tracie was a Dance major at the U of A, likes opera, and has taught Pilates for 19 years. She loves running down hills, tall pine trees and playing in rivers.
MEN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
In addition to his role as Elder, John is the Chief Operating Officer for the Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso region of the American Red Cross. John and his wife Nichole were married in 1994 and have three children, Ashley, Courtney and Max. They started attending Northwest Bible in 2010. John’s hope for the church is that we would be a community of believers who provide the opportunity for all people to fix their eyes on Jesus Christ and live to reveal Him as magnificent. John and his family love to travel and fill their home with friends and loved ones. Once upon a time, he could rock it on the drums!
As the Ministry Coordinator, Alyssa provides administrative support for staff, ministry leaders, and elders, equips and empowers volunteer team leaders, and oversees processes and systems for the care of the church. She and her husband Chris were married in 2011 and have one daughter, Norah. They began attending Northwest Bible in 2010. Alyssa loves to read, to explore new places with her family, and to find delicious places for a good cup of coffee and some breakfast food.
As the Administrative Specialist, Stephanie is the first point of contact for guests and visitors to our campus during the week and she prepares the administrative pieces for our worship services. She and her husband Jeff were married in 1995 and have two children, Isaac and Anika, and a mini zoo of pets. They started attending Northwest Bible in 2018. Stephanie loves making order out of chaos and likes to do that most often in her garden or backyard. She loves being outside, no matter the heat, exploring new trails. Her husband is a hobby game designer, so their family plays lots and lots of interesting board games.
As the Financial Administrator, Diana is responsible for handling contributions, stewarding the church’s financial policies, and helping staff work within their budgets. She and her husband Ernie were married in 1985, and have three children, two daughters-in-law, and two grandsons. She started attending Northwest in 2008. Her favorite place to be is with family, and you can usually find them hiking, fishing, bar-b-queuing, or just enjoying their backyard.

In addition to his role as Elder, Jeff works for the County. Jeff and his wife Stacey were married in 1992 and have two grown sons and one grandson. Jeff and Stacey started attending Northwest Bible in 2016. Jeff’s hope for the church is that the people of Northwest may learn to enjoy God and glorify Him in all they do! Jeff’s favorite thing in the world is to hang out with his grandbaby. He was once briefly stuck in a cave in Mexico on a missions trip and had to lose some skin to get out!
In addition to his role as Elder, Christian is a data analyst at Ventana Medical Systems. Christian and his wife Britt were married in 2005 and they have four children, Shea, Paige, Lauren, and Grant. They started attending Northwest Bible in 2006. Christian’s hope for the church comes from John 17:23, “I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” Christian thinks there’s nothing better than a medium-dark roast and a good book.
In addition to his role as Elder, Dave is a semi-retired bridge engineer and now a cook. Dave and his wife Denise were married in 1984 and have two kids, Carrie and Aimee. They started attending Northwest Bible in 1991. His hope for the church is that Northwest Bible would be a place of refuge for all who are looking for the anchor of hope in Christ. Dave loves apologetics and anything fast (cars, planes, motorcycles, books). His favorite vacation spot is anywhere as long as it is with Denise, family and friends.
