Advent Season
Advent, which in Latin means “coming”, is a four week period of spiritual preparation for the coming of Jesus into the world to seek and save the lost, and begins December 1st this year.
Each Sunday we will light a candle, symbolizing the light Jesus brings into our dark world. Each candle has a theme: hope, peace, joy, love, and Christ.
This Advent, we will also be preaching through four Psalms that touch on different aspects of Jesus’ miraculous coming.
In addition to our sermon series, the whole church will be going through a 4 week devotional to help focus our hearts and minds on the coming of Jesus. We also have a family version of the devotional.
You can access both at the buttons below:

Christmas Eve will be a time of singing, and reading the Christmas story, and then we will light candles to symbolize the light Jesus brings into our world.
