Sunday, April 19 Worship Service
Here’s everything you need to continue worshipping with your Northwest Bible Church family on Sunday, April 19, even as we all stay at home. We hope that these resources can help our community to continue to worship together.
SERMON
This Sunday, we'll begin a new series called The Family of God, looking at Ephesians 2 and asking what it means to be a part of the family of God and what our next steps might be in that relationship. View the service below.
WORSHIP

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
1) When you hear the word "family" what are some the things that come to mind? What about for the family of "God"?
2) Read Genesis 1:26-27. What is significant about the Trinitarian God as we consider this idea of family? What are some of the things that being part of a family teaches us about God?
3) How does Jesus revolutionize our vision of family (feel free to consult John 3:1-8; Mark 3:31-35; Matthew 6:7-15)? What are some of the things that both excite you, as well as make you nervous about this?
4) Read John 17:20-21. What exactly is Jesus praying for here? How does God the Father answer his prayer? What do you and I have to do in order to appropriate that (take hold of that)?
5) What is your current relationship with the Family of God? Do you just visit every so often? Or do people really know you as a brother, or mother, or sister, or friend? How might God be calling you to take the next step?
PRAYER - Spend some time praying for Northwest to be community who truly lives out the gospel together. Ask God to bring others into this family.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY RESOURCES
Over the next 4 weeks we will be helping support you and your family at home with resources that coordinate with the sermon series. Lessons, activities, videos, music (and a message from Tracie explaining how to use them all) can be found by clicking here. Resources will be available by Sunday.
STUDENT MINISTRIES
Our students have been having fun connecting online via Zoom. If you haven't heard about our student activities and would like to get a student connected, contact Pastor Joel.
DID YOU INVITE SOMEONE TO EASTER?
The unique online format of our services right now has made it easier than ever for new people to tune in and our services have been viewed more than ever before. We want to encourage you to follow up with people that you've shared the services with and ask them what they thought. This is a good time to be intentional with our friends, family, neighbors and co-workers and share the hope and peace we have in Christ.
