Week 1: Read 1 John 1:1-4

• Pray that there would be a growing esteem for Jesus among us

• Pray that we would both proclaim and embody the gospel well

• Pray our church would be a Life-giving place to everyone who attends

Week 2: Read Acts 9:31

• Pray that God would “build up” Northwest.

• Pray we would walk in the fear of the Lord and comfort of the Spirit

• Pray that we would grow both physically and spiritually

Week 3: Read Romans 15:5-7

• Pray that God would give us “harmony” as the Body of Christ

• Pray that God would deeply unify us in worship and in community

• Pray that we would become a church known for its welcoming and gospel-saturated culture

Week 4: Read Ephesians 4:1-3

• Pray that the Holy Spirit would be at work among us

• Pray that He would give us a very real and experienced unity

• Pray that humility, gentleness, patience, and love would be defining marks at Northwest

Week 5: Read 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

• Pray that God would be comforting those who are hurting in our body

• Pray that God would use our church, and would use you personally, to partner with God in this

• Pray for the people By Name who you know are hurting

• Consider reaching out to them with an encouraging text or call

Week 6: Read Ephesians 6:18-20

• Pray specifically for our brothers and sisters in Africa; that God would protect, provide for, and establish his people there

• Pray for our gospel partners at the U of A as they seek to raise up the next generation of believers in Jesus

• Pray that God would open doors for you personally to share the gospel

Week 7: Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17

• Pray that we would be a people “of the Book” (i.e. men and women who read, and delight, and meditate on it)

• Pray that we would truly believe that it is breathed out by God and necessary for our daily lives

• Pray that the Word of Christ would dwell in us richly, and that we would be able to skillfully and graciously apply it to one another’s lives
