WHAT TO EXPECT THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday we enter into the fourth week of advent and Pastor Jeff will continue in our 'Songs of Advent' series in Luke 2:26-33 and take a look at the song of Simeon. Our children will be gathering all together in the youth room this Sunday to begin planning their birthday party for Jesus. Please have your children check-in and receive their stickers as usual and then walk them over to the youth room. This will be a fun time for them to celebrate and an opportunity to give our wonderful, faithful teachers a Sunday off. As always, if you are not able to join us in person, then we welcome you at 10:30am via our live stream at northwestbible.com/live. Thank you to each of you who do join us this way and have been connecting in the chat!

CHRISTMAS EVE AT NORTHWEST BIBLE
On Friday, December 24th we will celebrate Christmas Eve with candlelight services at 4 and 5:30pm on our campus. We will offer children's ministry for our babies through five year olds and ask that you let us know how many children will be joining us by tomorrow Friday, December 17th here. This count will allow us to prepare our volunteers well. As you are making your Christmas Eve plans, please consider that our 4pm service will cater best to families with young children and if you are able to attend at 5:30pm that would serve those families well. We will also offer the service via live stream at 5:30pm at northwestbible.com/live.

WORSHIP SERVICES FOR DECEMBER 26TH
On the Sunday after Christmas Day, we will be hosting one worship service at 9am. We will also live stream this service, so you can continue to join us if you are not able to be with us in person.

WORSHIP SERVICES FOR 2022
We will start off the new year with a new service time! We are going to move our 10:30am service to 10:45am. This change will allow our services to have the space necessary for all of the various elements without feeling rushed, it will allow our Children's Ministry to have more time between classes and for adequate check-in, and it will give each of us a bit more time to connect with others between services. This will begin on Sunday, January 2, 2022. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know here.

STUDENT MINISTRIES
--WINTER CAMP
Student ministries will be traveling to Tonto Rim Christian Camp in Payson, AZ on January 7-9th for winter camp. This is a great opportunity for our students to connect with one another and be drawn closer to the good news of Jesus. To reserve your student's place, please register at northwestbible.com/students. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Pastor Joel.

MISSIONS UPDATE:
--Larry & Mary Harris | Wycliffe Bible Translators
Dear Northwest Bible,
We arrived in Oaxaca on November 7th for a 5-week stay.  Our highest goal for this short trip was to see the book of Genesis recorded in Mixtec. Thank you Lord, during our second week here Genesis was recorded (in record time). During that same week we learned that the recording of the entire New Testament is now available on the internet and can be downloaded as a cell phone app for listening. Go to Bible. Is and search for Mixteco, Suroeste deTlaxiaco. Another exciting development is that both recordings, the New Testament and Genesis, have been loaded on to 50 small audio bible devices called mega-voices which we hope to distribute among our Mixtec friends before we head back to the U.S.
While still in Arizona we were involved in all the detailed preparations for the New Testament: prologue, introduction to the Mixtec alphabet, credits, title page, pictures to be included, maps, etc. Praise God, we have now turned in all the requirements for publishing the Mixtec New Testament. Typesetting is in progress and we will be needing to be checking the manuscript at some point. By God’s grace we hope to see the finished product arrive in Mexico sometime next year from Korea!
Please be praying for the Holy Spirit’s preparation of the hearts of Mixtec speakers, wherever they are living, to hear and receive God’s Word, now available to them in audio form, and to come to receive salvation and live changed lives. Also for those who are already believers to eagerly and fearlessly share God’s Word in Mixtec, in whatever form, with those around them. Also pray for our leaders in Mexico as well as in Wycliffe US and SIL International. They need so much wisdom in these complicated days.
