EXPANDING HOW WE CELEBRATE THE GOSPEL
Throughout the last year we have been monitoring our local COVID data points and discerning what are the best options for our community. As we have emerged from the winter COVID surge and a greater number of vaccines have been administered, we'd like to set the table for as many people as possible to celebrate the Gospel with us. Starting the weekend after Easter we will no longer require registration for either of our services and during our 10:30am service masks will be suggested, but not required. Our 9:00am service will remain the same with masks required, our online community will continue to gather at 10:30am via the live stream and our children's ministry will continue to ask for reservations that will be available at northwestbible.com/children. We appreciate your prayers, feedback and encouragement as we have been navigating this pandemic season.
EASTER CELEBRATION
We will have the joy of celebrating Easter on Sunday, April 4th at 10 am either outdoors on our campus or the location of your choice via a live stream on Facebook. We will have a place prepared for you and your family for all ages, nursery through preschool will be able to check-in starting at 9:30am into Children's Ministry and our kindergarten through middle school students will have the opportunity to worship with their family and then hear a special Easter message with Pastor Joel in the sanctuary. Check out all the details, make your reservation, and share this with friends, family, and neighbors at northwestbible.com/easter.
EASTER CELEBRATION VOLUNTEERS
To prepare our campus for this celebration, we are going to need some additional hands to make it happen. If you'd be willing to come a little early on Easter Sunday for set-up, welcoming guests or helping guests find their section and seats please let us know your preference here by Thursday, March 25th.
GOOD FRIDAY SERVICES
We will have a time of reflection and communion on Good Friday, April 2nd at 5:30 and 7pm. Childcare will be available for our nursery through preschool children. Children in kindergarten and older are welcome in the service with their family. Please make your reservation at northwestbible.com/easter or join us from any location via a live stream at 7pm.
BAPTISM SUNDAY
We will have the opportunity to celebrate baptism on Sunday, April 11th in our services. If you are interested in being baptized, please register here by Monday, April 5th. If you would be willing to help prepare the sanctuary for baptism click here to let our staff know that help is available.
WORSHIP PASTOR SEARCH
We are so thankful for our vocalists, musicians and technical crews who have been volunteering their time to create a meaningful environment for us to enter into worship each Sunday. We also have a worship pastor search team that has been diligent working to seek God's wisdom and guidance for our next Worship Pastor. This team has been reviewing applicants, conducting interviews and praying for who God has selected next to lead worship at NWBC. This process takes time and prayer and we ask that you join us in praying for this search team, for the person God already has in mind for the position, and for our volunteers. If you have any questions about the process, please feel free to email the Worship Pastor Search team.
CONNECTION GROUPS
If you'd like to find a place to connect with others and unpack the truths taught on Sunday at a deeper level, then a connection group would be a great place to start. Find a group that meets on a day of the week and location that works for you at northwestbible.com/connect. We have groups meeting both in person or via ZOOM. If you'd like assistance with finding a group that works best for you, please let us know here.

Mark your calendars for some fresh air and time together hiking the trails at Catalina State Park. Meet up in the parking lot at 8am on Saturday, April 10th, bring your water bottle and sun hat and we look forward to seeing you there!
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEACHER TRAINING
On Sunday March 28th at noon, we will hold a training for the new curriculum in Children's Ministry. It will cover how to use it, teach it most effectively, how to access it online, and navigate the website. If you are a current children's ministry teacher or interested in serving, you are welcome to join us! Please let Pastor Joel know if you are able to make it here. Lunch will be provided.
CREATIVE ARTS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Do you love to worship with music? Do you have an ear for quality sound? We are asking that God would bring us some volunteers that could be a part of our tech crew on Sunday mornings. Specifically, we are in need of a technical director once per month that is able to arrive early, prepare the sanctuary for worship and guide the tech crew through the morning. The ability to troubleshoot with grace and a calm spirit are key. We are also in need of an additional sound technician to mix the tracks, instruments and vocals on a Sunday morning. Training is provided for each role. If you find yourself prompted to check out this opportunity, click here.
