What about Easter? March 26, 2020 Update
Faithful, committed, non-anxious followers of Jesus who lead around the country have strongly encouraged the Church to take all recommendations, policies, and procedures from the CDC and WHO very seriously. As the state of Arizona has indicated widespread transmission of COVID-19, and as schools are set to be closed through Easter, we are preparing for the reality that we will not likely be able to meet in person to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection in a few weeks.
Again, we are reminded that the Church is not a building. God is not dismayed by this pandemic and we believe He has a plan for us in the midst of it all.
At this time, we are preparing a very special virtual Easter celebration that will include extra elements like worship and more. More information will be communicated with you soon, but we look forward to celebrating as one church family on Sunday, April 12. We hope our virtual celebration will be one you can share with your friends and family and neighbors as we continue to offer the world the one, true Hope that we have in Jesus!
Plans are also in the works for a Good Friday service and we’ll update you on that soon.
