Sunday, June 28 Worship Service

This Sunday, June 28, we will gather as an online community AND in person for an outdoor service at 6pm at the church. We hope you'll join us in one of those ways. Here's everything you need to be part of Northwest Bible Church this Sunday.

COVID IN TUCSON
Over the past two weeks Arizona has moved quite significantly into our highest levels of positive COVID-19 cases. NWBC Staff and Elders are closely monitoring this and seeking the Lord for wisdom in our reopening phases. At this time, we are still planning to meet outdoors this Sunday evening but want to remind you to keep physical distance between people not in your family and to observe the county and city mask mandate for every person over the age of 5. To join us on Sunday evening at 6pm, reserve your spot at northwestbible.com/rsvp

SERMON
This Sunday, Steve Nicholas will continue our teaching series, Prelude to the Kingdom, in 1 Samuel 1-2. The video sermon will be available here on Sunday morning and he'll preach the same message at our live outdoor service that evening.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
Here are some discussion questions you can use to talk about the sermon with your friends, family, or connection group.

  1. Who are the people/players/characters that have impacted your life? Positive or Negative, what impact did they have?

  2. What do you do with the “If only” in your life. Your longings/desires?

  3. Have you made any vows to God that you’ve not kept?

  4. When you look at the circumstances of Samuel’s childhood, what does it tell about God?
