WHAT TO EXPECT THIS SUNDAY
It's been a great season of taking in and seeking wisdom from our mixed tape of the book of Proverbs. This Sunday Pastor Jeff will conclude this series with the culture of wisdom. If you are not able to join us in person, then we welcome you at 10:30am via our live stream at northwestbible.com/live. Thank you to each of you who do join us this way and have been connecting in the chat!
ADVENT SEASON AT NORTHWEST BIBLE
Advent is a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of Jesus’ birth on Christmas. Our season of advent will begin on Sunday, November 28th and we will open the scriptures to find the songs that will lead us through advent. On Friday, December 24th we will celebrate Christmas Eve with two candlelight services, one at 4 and 5:30pm on our campus. We will offer children's ministry for our babies through five year olds and ask that you let us know how many children will be attending here. This count will allow us to prepare our volunteers well. As you are making your Christmas Eve plans, please consider that our 4pm service will cater best to families with young children and if you are able to attend at 5:30pm that would serve those families well.

CONNECTING POINT
--FRIENDSGIVING
Our 1st ever Friendsgiving is this Sunday! We will meet on campus from 4-6pm for an early dinner, games of corn hole on the grass, and a big jump house for the kids. Then as the sun sets and the night gets a bit chilly, we will gather around a fire for some worship. This is also a great opportunity to welcome new friends into our community. There is no cost for the friends that you invite to come with you and if you consider Northwest Bible your home, we'd like to ask that you bring $5 to contribute to dinner and camp chairs and blankets to enjoy on the grass. We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
STUDENT MINISTRIES
--ALL-NIGHTER AT DEFY

--WINTER CAMP
Student ministries will be traveling to Tonto Rim Christian Camp in Payson, AZ on January 7-9th for winter camp. Projects are coming together and you can register here to lend a hand and kick-off your advent season with a day of service. We will gather on Saturday, December 4th from 8-12pm.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Our packing party was a success! Thank you for allowing your children to be a part of it as they packed 73 boxes from the supplies purchased by the VBS donations and paid for the shipping for those boxes! In addition we have collected 166 boxes and have built another 53 boxes online through our Goal Page. There is still time to go there now and build a box for just $25 (includes shipping) and join this incredible outreach. This week, until next Monday the 22nd, our church is a drop-off location, so if you missed turning your box in, bring it Sunday or stop by the drop-off. Drop-off hours are: Friday 10-2, Sat 10-2, Sunday 1-3 or Monday 10-2.
MISSIONS UPDATE:
--Jon & Barb Habegger | Child Evangelism Fellowship
Thank you Northwest Bible Church family for your faithful support as we share God’s Word with Pima
County children. We praise God that some districts have reopened their schools for on campus after school News Club. At this time, Good News Clubs are meeting in the following school districts- Marana, Flowing Wells, Sunnyside, Tucson Unified, and Sahuarita. Jon is awaiting school board approval for a in Continental District. We have a club meeting at the Gospel Rescue Mission’s women and children’s center. It is a miracle to be meeting in person with the children each week! Parents are very eager to have their children enrolled in Good News Club. At Walter Douglas School, 40 children have enrolled and we have a waiting list for additional children to attend. We have been counseling children who want to believe in Jesus and more than ten have made a profession of faith! As of November, God has opened up 13 Good News Club with more teams wanting to begin clubs this school year. Thank You, Lord.
