WHAT TO EXPECT THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday we will have the opportunity to meet and welcome a Worship Pastor candidate, Lucas Hattenberger and his family Andrea, Anya (7), Eliza (5), and June (3). Lucas will lead us in worship and then be available after services for you to connect with him. After services on Sunday, if you'd like to share your feedback related to Lucas, you may do so here.

We will also have the opportunity to celebrate communion and continue in our sermon series, "The Weight of Balance, a study of 1 John" focusing on 1 John 2:15-17.

MISSION HIGHLIGHT: OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Recently, NWBC received an Appreciation Award from Samaritan’s Purse recognizing our five years of participation as a drop-off location. As a drop-off location, this means that our church has made available volunteers and space for other local churches to bring their shoeboxes to during National Collection Week. When they arrive with their boxes they are warmly greeted, their boxes are counted and prayed over and then put in cartons and taken to a central drop-off where they are placed on a semi-truck and sent to the Fullerton, CA processing center. Thank you to all of you for making this happen each year! Did you know that NWBC has been collecting shoeboxes for 20 yrs? This demonstrates real commitment on the part of our congregation to bring the Gospel to the children of the world! This year our VBS children donated $1315 towards the Sunday School Packing Party that will be held in the fall. Our kids are fired up about missions!

How could you get involved today? Our Operation Christmas Child volunteers are making jump ropes from strips cut from t-shirts to pack in our boxes this year. If you have any t-shirts that you would like to donate, please click here
