WHAT TO EXPECT THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday will be our last opportunity to be led in worship by Jared Ulrich, as we announced last week that we have hired our next Worship Pastor, Lucas Hattenberger, and he will be joining us in August. Please take a moment to thank Jared for leading us well in this season! Pastor Jeff will open the scriptures to 1 John 3:11-24 and we will continue to explore 'The Weight of Balance'. If you are traveling or out of town this weekend, we continue to live stream our service at 10:30am at northwestbible.com/live and would enjoy having you check in and share where you are watching from!
CONNECTION GROUP LAUNCH
Our Connection Groups are beginning to launch and we want each and everyone of you to find out more about our groups at one of three brunches in August. Learn the why, the what and the how behind Connection Groups while meeting others and enjoying a delicious breakfast. Childcare is provided. Starting August 15, 22nd or 29th from 7:30am-8:50am. Click here to select your brunch date and we will look forward to seeing you then!
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
We are actively searching for a full-time Children's Director who would be responsible to oversee ministry and mission to children, parents, and families at Northwest Bible. In this season as we continue to seek God's plan for us and our next Children's Director, please be praying for God's wisdom and direction. Also, pray for and thank all of the volunteers that have stepped up and shared their time, talents and gifts by leading our children to know Jesus! For more information about this position, please visit northwestbible.com/jobs.
WOMEN'S MINISTRIES

be.lov.ed, our Women's Ministry, will kick-off on Friday, August 20th at 6:00pm with an evening of dinner, worship and special guest speaker, best selling author Cynthia Heald. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Women's Ministry leader, Jenny Vincent.
--Bible Study
We will be studying from Cynthia Heald's book, "Becoming a Woman Whose God Is Enough" on Thursday mornings at 9am. Bible study books are approximately $10 and can be purchased on Amazon, christianbook.com or Walmart. We will begin meeting on August 26th and meet through December 2nd with weeks off for fall break, Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving (10/14, 11/11, 11/25). Childcare is provided free of cost. Let us know that you are planning to join us here.
MISSION HIGHLIGHT: GLOBAL TRAINING NETWORK AFRICA TRIP 2021
Steve and Julie Nicholas had the opportunity to travel to Uganda and Rwanda to visit our GTN pastors and they have provided for us a brief update on that trip and what they experienced there. Click here to check it out and then head to northwestbible.com/GTN for an overview of our pastors and GTN.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT NWBC
--Children's Ministry
It's almost back-to-school time and that means we anticipate more children coming back to our classrooms to learn about Jesus. If you'd be willing to share the love of Jesus and spend some time with our children, please let us know. We'd be happy to answer any of your questions and train you up to provide our children the opportunity to discover the depth of God's love and word. Let our Children's Team know that you are interested here.
--Coffee Ministry
Yes, it's time to bring back coffee to the patio! In order to make this happen, we are looking for folks to brew, serve and welcome guests as they come to enjoy their coffee. No experience needed, nor do you even need to drink coffee! We'll provide all the steps you need to be successful and have fun while bringing lots of smiles and caffeine to our guests. Contact our Ministry Coordinator, Stephanie Petersen to let her know that you are interested.
